This website is dedicated to joining our childcare family in prayer, at Hill Country Youth Ranch, along with two sister campuses, Big Springs Ranch for Children, and Enhanced Horizons Center for Advancement. At the core of our mission is faith in Jesus Christ. We believe in the power of prayer in community, that the Almighty Father answers His children through our Lord Jesus, by the power and communion of the Holy Spirit. Prayer being one of our greatest needs, and Jesus being the author and finisher of our faith and mission, we invite you to join us in prayer, bringing to God our gratitude for all He is and does, as well as our requests for the particular challenges we face.
On this site, there are a couple of ways to pray with us:
We will periodically release new posts that focus on a particular part of the program or family (e.g. “recreation,” “house-parents” or “the children”). We will briefly discuss the unique joys and challenges of the department in focus, and write prayers accordingly. These prayers will be based on scripture, specific needs and prayer requests, and the current work and promptings of the Holy Spirit. We invite you to speak these prayers out with us, and leave a comment to let us know you have! Also, feel free to comment with any prayers that come to you! You can search through past prayer focuses and bring your prayers there as well. Check out our latest prayer here.
If the Lord moves you to pray in a special way at any time, we leave this section for any inspired prayers you would like to share.
